Adecco US, Inc. Warehouse Supervisor in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania

Adecco is seeking a Working Warehouse Supervisor for a key role with one of our esteemed clients in Allentown, PA. As a crucial member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for setting up and managing all aspects of warehouse operations. Reporting directly to the President, you will ensure efficient logistics, order fulfillment, and inventory management while leading a small but growing team. This role is perfect for a proactive leader who thrives in a startup-like environment and enjoys the challenge of creating processes from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Operations: Lead the setup and daily management of the warehouse, including order fulfillment, packaging, shipping, and inventory control.

  • Team Leadership: Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

  • Process Development: Design and implement warehouse procedures to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and safety, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Data Management: Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of parts and inventory, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date.

  • Logistics Coordination: Plan and manage logistics operations, including coordinating with suppliers and transport companies for timely deliveries.

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards, and oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise, adapting to changes and challenges.

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, partners, and other businesses to support smooth operations.

  • Analyze warehouse data to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management, with a solid background in logistics, supply chain, and inventory management.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build and manage an effective team.

  • Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and databases.

  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.

  • Valid PA driver’s license.

Pay Details: $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
