Responsibilities

Transport vehicles to and from the dealerships.

• Drives vehicles and delivers or picks them up after their vehicle is purchased.
• Operates both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
• Keeps a timely dealer trade route.
• Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles if needed.
• Uses cell phone and/or operates radio or similar device to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Keeps a record of trips and destination or pick-up point.
• Notifies sales manager of any damage the vehicles may have when transporting.
• Ensure all items (keys, manuals, etc.) are accounted for on pickup and delivery.
• Treat all customers with respect and dignity.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Requires Driving a motor vehicle and is a Safety Sensitive position

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.  The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.
