POSITION TITLE: Shelter Custodian
UNIT: Bremerton Corps
REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
STATUS: Part-Time, 25 Hours per week
PAY: $19.24

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be a team player committed to the common purpose of assisting those in need.
Must be sensitive and act accordingly to program participants who may be dealing with multiple issues and stresses due to their current living situation.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check, driving record check and have valid driver’s license.
Must have an understanding of commercial cleaning products and procedures.
Must have food handler’s card and knowledge of HACCP, FIFO
Summary of Job Duties:
Maintain and clean premises as outlined in the daily check sheet. This may include:
Using floor cleaning machine on all hard surface floors
Vacuuming all carpeted areas
General dusting and cleaning
Sanitizing touchable surfaces
Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
Replenishing paper goods as needed
Emptying trash and replacing bags
General pickup of trash on grounds
Cleaning refrigerator, stove, microwave, countertops, floors in kitchenette upstairs
Cleaning windows, windowsills, baseboards, stairways, elevator
Cleaning tables, chairs and mats
Physical Requirements:
Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, reach overhead, kneel, and/or twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
Able to grasp, push, and pull objects such as pallet jack
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
