Analyst, Procurement Ops
Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for the strategic sourcing and continuously improving procurement policy, processes, systems, data analytics and reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
Execute the development of a data analytics and reporting roadmap. Important aspects of the roadmap include data cleansing and creating reports that are simple, accurate and actionable while assessing technology options and ensuring stakeholder feedback loops are strong.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and providing passionate and empathetic internal customer service.
Subject matter expert for procurement data, reporting and other functional infrastructure building.
Develop and execute continuous improvement ideas, in alignment with the Manager – Procurement Operations and Analytics overarching vision and game plan.
Support category manager teammates with tactical aspects of strategic sourcing and procurement.
Support stakeholders on various aspects of procurement operations as questions or challenges surface. Create proactive feedback loops to assist with continuous improvement efforts.
Play a key role in developing and conducting training for on-going activities and as new strategies are implemented.
Routinely provide ideas for improvement across the entire procurement organization
Troubleshoot and resolve opportunities to improve, particularly those that may impact store operations or the bottom line.
Required Qualifications
Experience : 3 years of procurement, supply chain, continuous improvement, systems support, project management, change management and/or related experience. Experience with procurement processes and systems is preferred.
Education : Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management or a related field is required. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office products
Detail oriented
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
Strong presentation skills
