Ervin Cable Billing Specialist in Brentwood, Tennessee
A successful Billing Specialist shall support an entire project through processing billing and/or customer invoicing. This position is expected to process employee and subcontractor invoices daily for input into our accounting/payroll systems; provide administrative support by performing general billing duties, such as; compile data using Microsoft Excel, and prepare information for internal/customer purposes. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of general office functions; proficient in the use of Google Workspace and spreadsheet software with emphasis on Microsoft Office; Proficient organizational and detail oriented skills; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.

ability to read understand, interpret, input, and analyze data with a high degree of accuracy and completeness
excellent manual dexterity
ability to follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing
ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed
ability to work seated at a table for extended periods
Responsibilities:
Completion of high-level tasks in support of an assigned department/project
Receive, organize, file, and maintain documents and/or data for an assigned department/project
Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project
Read, interpret, and input data in support of an assigned department/project
Qualifications:
2 years of related work experience
Proficient in the use of office hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)
Excellent Customer Service skills and strong English language skills both oral and written
Authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
Workplace Environment and Physical Demands:
To be considered for this position, a candidate must possess the ability to sit for long periods of time, while using repetitive and/or fine hand movements to complete computer related tasks and/or other office functions. Work is performed indoors and in a typical office environment.
