Job Summary and Qualifications
The Education Coordinator will be responsible for designing, develop and delivering intuitive, engaging and impactful learning materials, across a variety of learning mediums. The Education Developer is expected to be a highly creative and innovative to imagine and create training videos, games, job aids, leader guides, ILT materials, PowerPoint presentations and e-learning deliverables.
Key responsibilities include:
Collaborate with curriculum workgroups and subject matter experts in all phases of the learning framework (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation), to think creatively to produce and recommend new concepts and ideas.
Develop and/or edit a variety of training related content: blogs, articles, alerts, bulletins, web copy, intranet content, manuals, presentations, job aids, e-learning, etc.
Work with functional and technical subject matter experts to translate knowledge and processes into course content that support skills training and knowledge application
Update/Maintain Learning website(s) with latest documentation (information, process changes, etc.)
Use training templates, standards and guidelines, and common methodology as defined by the Training Team, to ensure consistent deliverables across audiences and modules
Ensure training is innovative, engaging and on the cutting edge of training technology.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program providing training in a related field and a minimum of 5 years related experience; experience in lieu of education will be considered.
EXPERIENCE:
Familiarity with professionally accepted standards of evidence-based medical writing and educational content development
Previous experience in healthcare related education environment
Previous experience with administration and management of a LMS
Previous experience in the use of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D Studio, Director, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Articulate Storyline, Captivate, DocuTools, etc.
