General Function :

Analyze data, research, and manage treasury services issues and situations for MCB and clients. Providecustomer service,equipment installations,technical support, and training to the Bank's clients who use Treasury/Cash Management products, such as online banking, Remote Deposit Capture, ACH, etc. Maintain communication with Operations, Relationship Managers, and other departments toprovide internal support and assistance with Treasury Management clients.Implement client service agreements and setups, customer reviews, file maintenance, service requests, annual reviews, review/adjust risk ratings, etc. Ensuretimely follow up and verification of information and appropriate handling of accounts and agreements. Review, monitor, and verify daily reports.

Essential Functions:

Treasury Management Analysis

1.

  1. Generate and review analysis statements, and ensure that corrections are made prior to customer distribution. Assist in preparing for and presenting information.

  2. Assist with the regular review and monitoring of Treasury Management client relationships with regard to risk exposure, fraud, and compliance. Ensure that products, services, and agreements are maintained, updated, and documented properly.

  3. Ensure that customer user guides are complete, appropriate for the client/products, and up-to-date with system changes, enhancements, and upgrades. Ensure that clients and internal staff have consistent access to the necessary information.

  4. Take initiative, research, develop, plan, review, monitor, and complete projects as assigned.

Treasury Management Sales

  1. Prepare professional and accurate Treasury Management proposals and analysis in conjunction with the Bank’s pricing and service offering guidelines.

  2. Assist Relationship Managers in identifying opportunities and provide information on products, services, and unique applications.

  3. Work with lending teams to sell and cross-sell bank products through referrals, customer calls, relationships, and other methods, as appropriate.

  4. Maintain and enhance current Treasury Management client relationships and identify business development opportunities for new clients.

Treasury Management Operations

1.

  1. Monitor reports of Treasury Management account activity, both internal and external, including Positive Pay, RDC suspended items, commercial treasury management functions, bill pay, ACH and other transactions, exceptions and errors, risk exposure, fraud, compliance, source documents, file maintenance, etc. Address issues as needed.

  2. Monitor and review assigned daily activity reports for Treasury Management staff, verify logging of file maintenance, and assist with issues as needed.

  3. Provide support and assistance with annual file reviews, new account setup, contract implementation, training, system issues, migrations, application changes, system upgrades, third party product implementation, and other departmental functions. Ensure that files are up-to-date with contact information, documents, financials, credit and risk ratings, exposure limits, agreements, schedules, etc.

  4. Communicate with Treasury Service and other staff members regularly to ensure that all issues are addressed, verified, monitored, communicated, and handled appropriately and timely, with regard to exceptions, maintenance, completion, risk exposure, fraud, compliance, and other issues that should be communicated to management.

  5. Assist with new, used, and damaged equipment inventory and maintenance, including RDC scanners and other equipment. Prepare, log, clean, test, inventory, coordinate repair and warranty fulfillment, maintain equipment records and agreements, etc. Remove non-working equipment and notify management of equipment availability, issues, inventory, repair status, etc.

  6. Maintain and conduct annual file review of all Treasury Management files for financials, credit ratings, BSA and product risk ratings, exposure limits and all customer agreements and schedules are current

  7. Retrieve and prepare reports and updates for review, meetings, audits, and exams as required.

Treasury Management Client Service and Support

1.

  1. Respond to calls, emails, etc. to provide proactive customer service, product and operational information, training, assistance, and technical support to clients and internal Team Members. Analyze, troubleshoot, submit requests to appropriate individuals, and resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.

  2. Review and verify clients’ product and service setups, agreements, and updates (e.g. RDC, online banking, business online banking, bill pay, courier service, etc.) to ensure accuracy and proper working order. Facilitate and assist with data collection, documents and document updates, implementation, setup, login, permissions, enrollments, users, file transfers, browser settings, passwords, token activation, troubleshooting, changes, account and file maintenance, transactions, etc.

  3. Assist clients with courier setup, onboarding, maintenance, agreements, and communication. Communicate with appropriate courier service regarding agreements, issues, cash/coin orders,

  4. Assist with communications of Treasury Management and client systems functions as needed, including system changes, website adjustments, electronic product implementation and processes, issues, downtime, fraud potential, compliance, etc.

Compliance

1.

  1. Diligently protect confidential information, and assist the Bank in ensuring that all confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately.

  2. Maintain an active awareness and understanding of policies, procedures, designated authorities, regulations, and laws, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, etc. Follow these at all times.

  3. Communicate openly with supervisors and other management about policies, procedures, work conduct, and job functions. Ask questions to clarify any uncertainty in issues.

  4. Address and report suspected violations of policy, procedure, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, and other laws and guidelines, as outlined in the Code of Conduct. Reported information will be kept confidential.

  5. Participate in training sessions and policy updates as necessary. Assist with coordination of scheduling as appropriate.

  10. Ability to drive oneself independently for travel between locations

  11. Ability to present information to groups in an understandable format or fashion

Qualification Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with cash management and/or retail or operational banking

  • Strong sales, negotiation, interpersonal, verbal, written, and telephone communication skills

  • Tact and pleasantness in dealing with customers and Team Members

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Proficiency with Word and Excel

  • Strong time management, organizational, planning and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field

  • 2-4 years experience in treasury management or business banking

  • Certified Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Accredited Payments Risk Professional (APRP), National Check Professional (NCP), Certified Treasury Manager and/or Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP)

  • Ability to generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new business

  • Extensive experience with Treasury Services products, services, and functions

  • Experience with basic technical troubleshooting
