Actalent Medical Technologist Supervisor in Brewster, New York

NOW HIRING an Evening Medical Technologist for our Brewster, NY location!!

Job Description:

  • This position consists of 80% bench work and 20% administrative duties

  • Assisting with laboratory testing

  • Overseeing and developing MLT staff

  • Reviewing and signing quality control records and implementing remedial action as needed

  • Troubleshooting instrumentation

  • Evaluating workflow performance improvement

  • Monitoring inventory

  • Performing testing on analyzers

  • Reviewing, interpreting, and evaluating test results and reports

Skills & Qualifications:

  • New York State Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

  • 4 years industry experience with a bachelors degree OR 2 years industry experience with a Masters degree

  • Must have either Chemistry OR Hematology industry experience (willing to train!)

  • Microscopy and specimen processing experience is a plus

  • Previous supervisor experience is preferred!
