Description

We are offering a role that operates within the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut, 06610-2805, United States. The position is for a Desktop Support Analyst, where you will be executing the installation, repair, and maintenance of microcomputers and peripheral equipment, including configuring and deploying mobile devices.

Responsibilities:

• Execute the installation, repair, and maintenance of microcomputers and peripheral equipment

• Configure and deploy mobile devices as required

• Utilize knowledge of predominate operating systems including Windows 7, Windows 8 and above including Mac OS, Internet Explorer, and Office Suite applications

• Diagnose and resolve problems, distinguishing between local hardware, application, and network issues

• Coordinate the expeditious repair or replacement of defective equipment to ensure computer hardware and associated peripherals are functioning as designed

• Stay vigilant for security threats, non-compliant activities, and system anomalies

• Deploy new PCs in accordance with policies and procedures

• Methodically and efficiently troubleshoot reported problems

• Inspect equipment, associated peripherals, and wiring for signs of pre-failure indicators

• Continually demonstrate professionalism and respect for customers and team members.

Requirements

• Demonstrable customer service skills

• Proficiency in office functions and operations

• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Knowledge of procedures and policy implementation

• Experience working with vendors

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• Experience with facility management

• Willingness to travel as required

• Proficiency in MS Windows and other operating systems, specifically Windows OS

• Experience with Active Directory and configuration management

• Ability to provide deskside support

• Experience in executing tasks and projects based on best practices

• Ability to resolve issues efficiently

• Knowledge of compliance functions in the healthcare industry

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Experience with defect management

• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suites and other relevant software.
