About the role

The purpose of this position is to manage multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a campus of buildings of significant complexity. The role is accountable for driving Facilities Management capabilities within assigned site or sites while providing oversight of any facilities management partners, including CBRE or outsourced partners. The role’s duties will include maintenance operational oversite, performance of site services, maintenance, utilities, move services, and all facilities operations. The role is responsible for coordination of site facilities projects. This role is responsible for delivering quality, safe, compliant, efficient and effective workplaces within a site.

A suitable candidate for this role will have experience in facilities maintenance operations, infrastructure management, space management, and onsite employee and business services within a site (manufacturing and non-manufacturing).

Key relationships include handling outsourced vendors and establishing clear lines of engagement with site-level business customers, Regional and Sub-Regional Facilities Management leadership, the Global Workstreams Organization, and select key Support Partners for CBRE and the Customer (e.g., Finance, IT, HR, EHS, GHS and / or Procurement).

What you’ll do

Develops and maintains positive client relationships. Conducts client meetings on unresolved facility issues in an expeditious and professional manner. Communicates to clients regarding property profiles, emergency preparedness plans, financial performance, site inspections, facility audits, work order progress reports, and other related reports.

Serve as primary point of contact to site level business customer for Facilities quality, safety, compliance, and performance

Lead site level relationships with CBRE Facilities Management team and outsourcing partners, client functions, business customers and authorities

Ensure compliance with external and internal requirements. Ensure site facilities are aligned with good commercial, laboratory and manufacturing practices, and other regulations

Share client, E&PS key performance metrics, benchmarks, and methodologies to establish a dedication to continuous improvement culture

Implement and maintain client business continuity plans and infrastructure management programs

Support client, Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects

Coordinate between business units and contractors during planning / construction as needed

Attend and/or chair customer and Facilities Management level raising governance issues as required. Coordinate inspections on site, as needed

Identify and apply client E&PS programs and methodologies to generate savings and optimize the site and business performance

Responsible for CBRE and Client, site specific data and information to support regional and global metrics, programs and performance analysis

Runs occupancy, utilization, and spatial data.

Leads and coaches’ facilities staff to deliver excellent service levels for the client within budget. Researches and implements new processes and technology to improve operational efficiency.

Develops and recommends strategic facility management objectives for clients. Reviews and prepares various budget reports for multiple facilities.

Develops environmental health and safety procedures for facilities. These procedures include emergency action plans, disaster recovery, business continuity, and other related procedures.

Responsible for facility inspections for quality assurance on a periodic basis. Ensures facility procedures stay in sync with local, state, and federal regulations.

Produces and maintains various facility management reports. Coordinates management of capital projects.

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, business, architecture, etc. or equivalent experience required

Minimum of 5+ years of Commercial Real Estate/ facilities experience

Good leadership and strong technical skills

Strong communication skills both written and oral

Ability to adapt emerging trends and industry innovations

Ability to lead diverse teams through change and organizational transformation

Computer skills, including working knowledge of MS Office suite, Windows Environment

The target salary range for this position is $175,000 to $185,000 annual base plus 10% target bonus.
