Aerotek Maintenance Electrician in Broadview, Illinois

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and control systems, including disassembly, assembly, cleaning, and calibration. Install electrical equipment and test connections. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in industrial equipment. Work involves handling PLCs, 480V setups, and utilizing laptops to connect to ladder logic. Responsibilities also include working on VFDs, photo-eyes, metal detectors, and various types of machinery such as mixing, filling, and capping machines. Document work orders using a computer system.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Broadview, Illinois.

Work Environment

Food/GMP environment. The work area is very clean; however, it can get a little messy on the machines due to sauce production. Uniforms are provided.
