System One Controller - Manufacturing in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

System One is actively seeking a Controller for a permanent position located in Broken Arrow, OK. Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within our client’s organization, with a particular focus on monitoring and optimizing the company's P&L performance. This role will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the company's P&L performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and margin improvement.

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and opportunities for improvement.

  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Develop and maintain financial models and analyses using expert-level Excel skills to support decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and financial risk management.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide financial guidance and support to other departments within the organization.

  • Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) preferred.

  • 5 years of experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a controller managing P&L.

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a proven ability to create complex financial models and perform advanced data analysis.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving profitability.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
