PACCAR WINCH Inc is a wholly owned subsidiary of PACCAR. PACCAR Winch Inc manufactures high quality industrial winches, hoists, and drives for the oil/gas, construction, utility and specialty markets. We have locations in Broken Arrow and Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Our business is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our TEAM. This position requires 50% travel and must be on-site at our headquarters part-time in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

    Position Summary:

    The Director of Sales will work with their team to develop strategic sales objectives, establish sales territories/goals, manage budgets, and evaluate sales performance. This key leader will also contribute to new customer and product development, the support of marketing programs and materials, including advertising, event support, and online customer interfaces. Must rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while performing a variety of tasks both in office and in the field.

    Essential Functions / Responsibilities :

  • Directs the sales team in aggressively implementing all product sales programs and policies, with our Original Equipment and Distributor customers, to achieve divisional sales and profit objectives.

  • Establishes relationships and strategies with key senior leaders to successfully conquest new customers and improve results.

  • Acts as the voice of the customer in identifying product needs and service requirements.

  • Identifies new market trends and competitive threats to support strategic growth plans. Recommends actions related to market strategy, products, part/unit pricing, forecasting, and distribution.

  • Develops and grows industry leading distributor networking, addresses poor performers, coverage gaps, and targeting strategic areas for future growth.

  • Recruits and continuously develops personnel to retain a high performing Sales Team.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field

  • Must have eight (8) to ten (10) years of sales experience.

  • Successfully led a sales organization for three (3) to five (5) years.

  • Demonstrated success in identifying sales opportunities, developing, and implementing strategic sales plans, targeting new accounts, establishing ethical working relationships, and satisfying customer demands to consistently achieve challenging sales goals and to perform well over business cycles.

  • Prior experience working with industrial equipment sales or durable goods.

  • Knowledge of hydraulics or gearboxes is a plus.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and strong communication skills, both verbally and written, including the ability to plan, organize and deliver formal presentations.

  • Proficient with software applications including Microsoft Office Suite products and CRM platforms.

  • Must have ability to call on and visit customers at customers locations (on-site visits).

  • Must be able to office in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and travel, up to 50%.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA is desired

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Hub Spot, or other CRM Platform experience

  • Experience managing & working within the Product Development Process
