Description We are in search of a Staff Accountant to be part of our Cultural Services team based in Bronx, New York. The role involves managing critical accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Account Reconciliation. The position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.

• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of account reconciliation processes.

• Utilize Sage Intacct software for various accounting procedures.

• Employ Microsoft Excel for financial data management and report generation.

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions in response to specific account statuses.

• Contribute to the team by handling other accounting-related tasks as required. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct accounting software is required

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Previous experience in the Cultural Services industry is a plus.
