NATURE AND SCOPE This position reports to the Vice President - Organizational Change Management and Communications. The Internal Communications Advisor Sr works closely with Human Resources to develop and implement communication strategies, projects, and deliverables, with a focus on maximizing employee engagement. This position will also be responsible for supporting internal communications needs for other assigned business groups on an as needed basis. REQUIREMENTS 1. Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field and minimum of 5 years of experience in communications. Familiarity with financial industry and human resources is preferred. 2. Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office products with proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Experience contributing to an intranet preferred. 3. Ability to create compelling visual content using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar programs desirable. 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically in grammar and proofreading. Demonstrated creativity in the production of engaging content. 5. Strong interpersonal, organizational, project management, and time management skills. 6. Must develop a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures as they relate to this position. Must understand and comply with all job-related state and federal laws and regulations. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Works independently as well as collaboratively to develop and execute communication strategies in a highly cross functional environment. 2. Designs comprehensive internal communications plans and strategies spanning from short-term tactics to long-term campaigns with an emphasis on maximizing employee engagement. 3. Maintains a strong understanding of organizational communication needs including structure and audience profiles to determine the appropriate channel, medium and distribution approach for communication. 4.
