Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.JOB SUMMARYSupport Materials team in production supply inventory control and stocking to minimize operational disruption due to supply issues.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPull orders per customer requestOperate a PIV (Powered Industrial Truck)Stock Production supplies, move finished product to appropriate staging areaComplete inventory transactions in SAPAssist with checking in, inspecting and receiving incoming productAssist with month end inventory countsAccurately process RGA productHandle requests for suppliesIdentify devices currently processed in the facility and discarding devices that are not processed in the facilityKeep individual jobs intact throughout entire process and perform jobs in first in-first out basisComplete paperwork for operations completed and document rejectsMaintain process documentation logs and perform maintenance activitiesAssist in handling customer service issues as neededLoading and unloading trucksMaintain required paperwork i.e. cleaning logs, PIV maintenance logKeep in compliance of safety measures including the use of gowns, gloves and glassesAbility to work in other areas of production, as neededAble to work overtime as neededConduct associate training within the department as requiredCommitted to building a positive cultureFlexible with respect to hours and work performedMaintain a clean, safe and orderly work areaKnow and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibilityComplete training in area of responsibility. Training is required for changes in existing policies & procedures, for new assignments and for implementation of new policies & procedures. Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as environmental health & safetyOther responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assignedJOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTSEducation & Experience Requirements2-3 years warehouse or similar experiencePrior experience operating a Power Industrial Truck, and fully licensedPrior experience in the medical device industry is preferredAble to work with proprietary software system as well as vendor supplied systems including SAP and Critical Manufacturing is preferredAble to understand and follow Work InstructionsAbility to read, write, count and understand EnglishBasic knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations preferredWillingness to learn and take on additional responsibilitiesAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsExcellent hand and eye coordination/dexterityAbility to learn quickly and to identify, logically analyze and solve work-related problemsAbility to learn overall understanding of process flow and resources within the organizationAbility to function independently as well as part of a teamAbility to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environmentAbility to maintain high work standards and concern for quality of workAbility to work in a fast paced environmentPhysical Requirements Needed to Perform Position FunctionsLift/carry up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionallyPush/pull up to 50 lbs. occasionallyBend up to 30 degrees, kneel/squat, sit and rotate activities occasionallyTwist/turn, stand/walk and overhead reach frequentlyTorqueing/crimping, grasping-light, out-stretched arm and keystrokes both armsLANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to operate a personal computer.
