Operations Manager

Summary: Part Time (Approx 20-30 hours per week)

The Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating with the Sales and Marketing Manager to ensure seamless delivery of all necessary equipment and beverages for events. Primary tasks include event execution, ordering, staffing. This person must be comfortable with vendor management and event planning.

Basic Function and Responsibilities:

● Maintained inventory and delivery of all disposable items utilized during catered events.

● Maintained inventory of all beverages, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and reported inventory discrepancies and replenishment needs to the General Manager.

● Designed, created, and implemented event-specific Excel checklists and worksheets detailing items needed for specific event follow through.

● Directs events team and staff and oversees all operations from development, production, right up to delivery.

● Coordinate and implement all operations within an event, including, but not limited to: staff, food, beverage, AV / tech support, set up, decor and payment

● Responsible for all event staff, hires and trains new employees as well as provides leadership, motivation, direction and support to the current team.

● Order/coordinate all agreements in entertainment ryders

● Collaborate with General Manager on special requests

● Follow BEO paperwork for each event

Basic Requirements/Qualifications:

● Must be 18 years of age or older

● Prior experience preferred including POS systems and purchasing

● Must utilize excellent guest service skills to enhance the experience and meet the needs of guests with a positive attitude

● Must be able to multitask and be self-motivated

● Must be able to communicate clearly and congenitally with patrons about services, products, and programs

● Adherence to a uniform policy and grooming standards -must present a neat, professional appearance

● Qualified candidate will be a mature, responsible, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast paced environment

● Must satisfactorily fulfill all departmental training requirements

● Must obtain iPact Certification

● Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays and special events
