JPMorgan Chase Markets Legal Entity Treasury Associate in Brooklyn, New York

Join our fast-paced team as a Markets Legal Entity Treasury Associate!

As a Markets Legal Entity Treasury Associate within Investment Banking, you will be an integral part of a 5-person team. Your role will involve regular interactions with Corporate Treasury, Liquidity Risk Management, front office Lines of Business, and the wider Corporate and Investment Bank Treasury team. Additionally, you will frequently engage with other functions within the Commercial & Investment Bank Finance and Business Management. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in managing the legal entity treasury function in North America.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzing funding and liquidity analysis, optimization and forecasting for CIB Markets entities in North America, primarily JP Morgan Securities LLC, the US Broker-Dealer;

  • Working with LOB financing desks on funding strategy;

  • Coordinating with Corporate Treasury and Liquidity Risk Oversight on short- and long-term planning for firmwide funding and liquidity;

  • Provide NBIA feedback on CIBT behalf to new CIB Markets initiatives

  • Coordinate intraday funding for capital markets activity;

  • Interface with regulators and other external stakeholders on balance sheet and liquidity topics.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Knowledge or awareness of funding & liquidity management principles and regulatory developments in the treasury space

  • Strong project management skills; ability to gain consensus and drive initiatives to completion effectively

  • A 'hands on' team player who is equally comfortable carrying out detailed analysis on an independent basis or coordinating input from others

  • Strong business judgment and autonomy

  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure with commitment to deliver under tight deadlines

  • Strong critical thinking, process and control mindset. In addition, strong attention to detail

  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel ,PowerPoint (including PitchPro), Tableau

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and a strong track record of partnership with internal/external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Working knowledge of Investment Bank products along with financial theory and accounting principles preferred; inclusive of secured funding and financing instruments (repo/reverse repo, securities borrows, synthetics etc.)

  • Knowledge of Python, Alteryx, and VBA is a definite plus
