Program Coordinator, Office of Education Abroad (71150)Location: Brooklyn, NYDescription:Under moderate day-to-day supervision, the Program Coordinatoroperates using independent judgment and discretion to provide supervision of student employees, liaison services with a variety of constituents and general management of the OEA. Under the strategic leadership of the Director of Education Abroad, the primary role of this position relates to the coordination of student exchange programs and creating, reviewing and implementing exchange agreements.This individual is also responsible for managing exchange student balances, approved schools, and communicating with academic departments throughout the year. The role requires someone to be highly organized and possess good analytical skills. This is a hybrid role, four (4) days per week in person and one (1) day remote.The Program Coordinator is a critical role within our International Education Office that ensures the success of our student exchange programs. If you have a passion for international education and possess the necessary skills outlined above, we encourage you to apply.Position DutiesCoordination of all exchange programsIn coordination with the Director and Assistant Director of the Office of Education Abroad, develop, implement, and manage student exchange programs.Initial information gathering related to mobility numbers, academic mapping and housing accommodations among other items, to be included in the agreement with partner institutions for student exchange programs.Oversight and maintenance of key program development elements such as timelines, deadlines, contract management, TD application cycles, student and faculty outreach among other duties.Liaise with partner institutions to ensure smooth operation of exchange programs.Provide support to students participating in exchange programs including pre-departure orientations, visa application assistance, among other duties.Ensure all agreements comply with institutional policies and international regulations.Maintain records of all agreements and monitor their implementation and progress.Maintains a database for inbound and outbound programs and makes that information available to relevant officesCorresponds with partner institutions for inbound student nominations.Develops knowledge of and understands the types of exchange programs, and nomination/application/approval processes through the use of Terra Dotta software in order to accurately advise students.Supports the OEA with general inquiries from prospective outbound and inbound exchange students from arrival to departure.Data Analysis & VisualizationCollect data related to student exchange programs such as participation rates, academic performance, among other dutiesAnalyze data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for program improvementCreate visual representations of data to present findings to stakeholdersStudent - Facing Administrati
