Robert Half Project Manager in Brooklyn, New York

Description

We are on the lookout for a Project Manager to join a dynamic construction clients team, based in Brooklyn, New York. This role primarily involves managing construction projects, ensuring all safety requirements are adhered to, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining accurate documentation. The industry of focus is residential construction, with a particular emphasis on high-end residential construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation of all site safety measures, ensuring the security of workers, site, and signage.

• Manage the creation, review, and distribution of all construction-related documentation.

• Coordinate and lead subcontractors from the beginning to the end of the project to optimize efficiency and resource allocation.

• Uphold stringent quality control standards, ensuring uniformity in high-end design.

• Collaborate closely with the assistant project manager in-office to ensure timely processing and receipt of supply and material orders, while maintaining budget accuracy.

• Keep daily progress logs on Procore, capturing all work completed through both written and photo documentation.

• Schedule and track proactive one-week and 30-day schedules, updating weekly, for both management and clients, to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

• Job Title: Project Manager

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a residential construction Project Manager role or similar

• Skilled in answering inbound calls, with a focus on customer service and problem-solving

• Able to travel to job sites

• Familiarity with Procore software is a plus

• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven track record of successfully completing projects from conception to execution

• Must be a team player with the ability to lead and motivate team members

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field is preferred

• Possesses strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships with team members and stakeholders

• Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to focus on complex tasks for extended periods of time

• Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and work environments
