Robert Half Senior Project Manager in Brooklyn, New York

Description

We are seeking a meticulous Senior Project Manager to join our client's team in Brooklyn, New York. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing various tasks, timelines, and deadlines in our dynamic environment. You will also be expected to think proactively, plan ahead, and anticipate problems before they arise in our construction and residential construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the coordination and communication between various trades and subcontractors

• Ensure meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all project-related tasks

• Foster a culture of receiving and providing constructive feedback to improve overall quality and efficiency

• Manage multiple tasks, timelines, and deadlines in a highly dynamic environment

• Proactively plan ahead and anticipate problems, risks before they arise

• Utilize experience with Procore in managing project tasks

• Uphold OSHA Certification standards and guidelines in all construction activities

• Apply knowledge and experience in high-end residential construction for project success

• Utilize a degree in construction management to ensure efficient project execution.

Requirements

• The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior project management role.

• Demonstrated proficiency in the field of construction is required.

• The candidate should possess a deep understanding of residential construction practices and principles.

• Proven ability to lead, manage and execute projects within given timelines and budgets.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective team coordination and client interaction.

• Proficiency in using project management software and tools.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.

• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems with strategic thinking.

• Excellent negotiation skills to manage contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers.

• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in the construction industry.
