GENERAL FUNCTION The Distribution Clerk 2 (RX Stock Order Entry) is responsible for the accurate and timely entry of customer orders into the computer system. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Timely and accurate keying of order requirements into the computer. Understand and can apply company promotions, policies and procedures in carrying out the order entry function(s). Recheck completed Rx's for correctness before issuing to lab for processing. Match invoices and file as necessary. Maintain lab operating system software update/procedures manual. Also maintain work area in a neat, clean, and organized condition. Understand and follow all company and manufacturer's policies and procedures and ensure compliance of all attendance & safety rules and regulations. Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information. Willingly assist others as necessary to keep work current, meet deadlines or maintain an even workload. Cooperates with other coworkers and demonstrates a good attitude. Perform an acceptable quantity and quality of work on time as required and directed by supervisory personnel. Provide proper training, work direction, and technical guidance for less experienced coworkers. Attends in-house sponsored training meetings when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned to include but not be limited to "Frame Tracing" BASIC QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma, GED or comparable work experience 2 years of experience working in a clerical setting Basic use of laptop, keyboard and 10-key accurate typing Good reading, writing and verbal communication skills Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience with DVI software is desirable Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
