Work involves collaborating with sales, applications specialists, and other engineers to meet client needs, researching manufacturing processes, and ensuring designs balance quality, cost, and ease of manufacturing. You'll work with tools like Fusion 360 and AutoCAD for a range of products, from small pumps to large ground water remediation systems. Responsibilities: Design new and existing product families. Develop and improve large piping systems. Collaborate with production to refine designs. Specify BOMs for configurable products. Maintain calibration procedures for critical equipment. Work closely with electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration.
