Job Title: Fabricator Assembler Metal Products

Job Description

Members of the fabrication team will be on the front end of the manufacturing process. Raw material sheet metal comes in and needs to be measured to blueprint specs, cut, sawed, and prepared for assembly. This person will use band saw, drill press, shop tools and machines, and other hand and power tools to make sure the material is prepared. Using a tape measure and reading blueprints correctly are the most important here because each part needs to match the blueprint exactly.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Shift & Pay

  • 1st shift (7:30am-4:00pm) with little to no overtime at this time.

  • $20-22, based on experience

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Brookston, Indiana.

Work Environment

The work environment is outstanding compared to large manufacturing. The shop is very clean, well-lit, and quiet. Employees can listen to headphones, and casual attire such as jeans and sweatshirts is acceptable. No required PPE, only closed-toe shoes are needed on the floor. The work environment is a significant selling point, and people will appreciate it.
