Pitney Bowes is now hiring for Direct Hire Full Time Onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician I in our * Brown Deer, WI* Facility.
2nd Shift (5 Days Work Week 4 PM - 12 Midnight)

Have a proven background in electro-mechanics troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.

You will:
Perform mechanical and electronic repairs of all equipment including conveyor system, printer and sorting equipment.
Respond to equipment break down or emergency situations with urgency and expediency.
Utilize inventory, pm schedule and work order systems, and maintains the spare parts/supply inventory.
Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.
Perform all additional duties as required.
Your background:
As an Onsite Maintenance Technician , you have:
Experience trouble-shooting and repairing complex mechanical equipment with at least one year of break/fix mechanical and electrical experience preferred.
Familiarity servicing mailing equipment, conveyor machines, PLC systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, pulleys, or any other industrial types of electro-mechanical production equipment preferred.
Experience using a multimeter or any other type of electronic testing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals and parts diagram preferred.
Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment preferred.
Excellent problem solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, read schematics, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
