Robert Half Tax Preparer in Brunswick, Maine

Description We are offering a Tax Preparer role in Brunswick, Maine, within the services industry. This role is a short-term contract employment opportunity, with a mix of remote and office work.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer tax returns accurately, primarily forms 1040 and 1120-S

• Handle and manage tax-related data entry tasks efficiently

• Utilize Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software and Ultra Tax for tax preparation

• Aid in document management related to tax preparation processes

• Manage basic phone inquiries and drop-off folders

• Compare client information provided with the previous year's data for consistency

• Monitor and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate records

• Address any customer inquiries related to tax preparation and document management

• Adhere to standards and regulations when preparing tax returns and handling client information. Requirements • Proficiency in using Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software and Ultra Tax is required for the role.

• Exceptional customer service skills are essential.

• Strong data entry skills are necessary.

• Previous experience in tax preparation is a must.

• Knowledge of detail-oriented services industry is preferred.
