Overview Responsible for assisting in coordinating and monitoring activities engaged in the warehouse activities. Lead the warehouse staff and ensure safety protocols are followed. Ensure daily needs are met for internal and external customer satisfaction. The schedule for this position is Tuesday - Saturday 4:30am to 1:00pm. Responsibilities Manage assigned warehouse area pertaining to quality, workmanship, productivity, recovery, sanitation and employee practices Meeting daily shipments requirements to guarantee AIT's service levels are achieve. Ensure that customer's goods arrive to final destination and are receive in a timely manner Monitor and expedites workflow of the dock assigned area and makes adjustments when necessary. Answers questions from warehouse employees pertaining processes and escalate to management as necessary Handle any training or process communications to warehouse personnel and ensures team compliance Handle and leads all inventory control including data entry, cycle counts and client reporting updates Operate a manually controlled gasoline or electric powered Forklift to pick-up, deliver or move materials around the warehouse location Follow safety policies and ensure the warehouse personnel adhere to the safety procedures in place in order to maintain personnel order & cleanliness Assure compliance with all safety and warehouse processes Communicate with management and other leads any problems or concerns with attendance, performance, and warehouse operations. Train warehouse personnel in warehouse processes, safety and assists personnel to improve procedures / performance Qualifications Education Qualifications High School Degree or equivalent Required Experience Qualifications 5+ years Previous team lead or supervisor experience. Required 5+ years Warehouse operations experience. Required 3+ years Experience with MS Outlook and Excel Required 5+ years Experience with 3PL systems Preferred Skills and Abilities Inventory and/or cycle count (Medium proficiency) communication skills.
