Savage Services Material Handling - Operator Equipment in Brush, Colorado

Requirements:

Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Comfortable with heights Walk 5+ miles per day on uneven terrain, etc. Must be able to lift 50 lbs Ability to perform basic maintenance Basic computer skills Ability to attend and pass all training associated with job related coursework. This includes but is not limited to: OSHA, HazMat and FRA related courses. Ability to travel to other sites to assist in switching and training requirements Willingness to wear required PPE Ability to work Holidays as required Clear drug / alcohol test / criminal background check Work experience in an industrial environment Valid driver's license A high school diploma, or equivalent

PREFERRED:

One year or more of Rail Industry and/or yellow equipment experience is a plus

WAGE:$23.00 to $25.00 per hour

DAYS/HRS: This is a 24/7/365 operation. Must be willing to work any shift to include holidays and weekends

DUTIES: The Coal Handler's primary responsibilities include operating coal handling equipment & general labor duties including but not limited to: clean-up of equipment, work areas and grounds. This position will report directly to the Team Leader and will work at our facility in Brush, CO Operating yellow equipment, Willing to train the right candidate Walking, shoveling and washing of conveyor system Routine inspections Preventive maintenance Cross train and willingness to assist in the different functions performed at the facility Operate a locomotive -we provide training and certification! Participate in and promote Company safety program
