Bard Manufacturing Press Brake Operator - 2nd shift in Bryan, Ohio

Job Descriptions:

Bard Manufacturing Company, Inc., a leader in the HVAC industry, has an opening for an experienced Press Brake Operator at our facility in Bryan, OH. This position is for our 2nd shift production. Schedule is Monday-Thursday; 4:30pm-3:00am.

With production facilities in Ohio, Georgia, and Mexico, we service our customers both nationwide and internationally by designing and manufacturing cutting-edge engineered products.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Performs repetitive work at a work station, fabricating metal or mechanical components/parts of an HVAC unit by performing the following duties:

  • Responsible for the operation and set-up of the specific piece of machinery he/she is operating.

  • Monitors and is responsible for the overall quality of the work being performed.

  • Performs activities in accordance with the procedures outlined in the work instructions and drawings.

  • Performs preventative maintenance on machines in compliance with ISO regulations.

  • Ability to use hand or pneumatic power tools.

  • Operates fork lift as required.

  • Ability to read and understand drawings/prints.

  • Follows all company safety rules and procedures.

  • Operates any equipment needed to perform the job.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

Education/Experience Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess the following skills/abilities:

  • High School diploma or GED is required

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed or uninvolved written or oral instructions.

  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
