Coordinates the receiving, storing and issuing of stock in a warehouse. Work requires contact with private entities. Employees atthis level perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.Essential Duties:Coordinates and performs spot checks and annual inventoryCoordinates all warehouse stock including the receiving, storing and issuing of stock; as required, moves warehouse items using appropriate safety methods and tools.Disposes of surplus stock.Ensures incoming freight meets specifications and expected quality.Ensures warehouse area and equipment are kept clean and properly maintained.Enters and reads computer data relating to the issuance and receipt of stock.Operates fork-lift.Oversees Material and Supply Management System (MSMS) and/or Minor Equipment System (MES) operationsProcesses purchase orders.Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
