Salary $61,609 to $72,676

Job Description: Provides counseling and skills training to children and adolescents being served in intensive levels of care who have been diagnosed with behavioral/emotional disorders and their families using evidence based practices such as CBT and TF-CBT; provides art therapy for youth admitted into YES Waiver services; provides services through the lens of trauma informed care; this position also provides diagnostician services as needed to both adults and children requesting behavioral health care to determine if individuals meet HHS eligibility criteria for ongoing MH services; Requires local travel.
Education: Requires Master's Degree with LPC, LPC-Associate, LCSW, or LMFT, LMFT-Associate.
Experience: Entails experience working with children and families; requires knowledge of childhood development.
Hours of Work: Generally Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; adjustment in work hours maybe warranted to meet the needs of the program. Crisis on call work required as agency need dictates.
License/Certification: Valid Texas driver's license and must be insurable by Agency's insurance.
Physical Requirements: Light lifting under 15lbs.; moderate carrying 15-44 lbs,; simple grasping, walking, sitting, standing, operating office equipment including computer, ability to see and hear (with aid), ability to read, write, count, ability to maintain confidentiality and to work closely with othe4rs; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as other physical requirements for this position.
