Saint-Gobain Sales Engineer in BUCKHANNON, West Virginia

Key member of the sales team in North America, the sales engineer is responsible to drive sales growth and manage customer relationships at his accounts. His/her primary focus will be to nurture existing customer relationships to maximize sales and revenue, identify new business opportunities, manage CAPEX project negotiation and delivery, contribute to set and deliver local pricing strategy. Directly in charge of the relationship with customers – mainly for container glass markets: • Regular customer visits to assess customer needs and enquire about their projects • Promote SEFPRO solutions in coordination with marketing and R&D teams • Prepare and present pricing policy to sales director to lead commercial discussions with customers in the best conditions • Negotiate commercial and contractual conditions (both technical and legal) Support key account managers with significant investment projects • Assist key account managers with all administrative tasks related to investment projects • Support in creating and updating forecasts in Salesforce for major investment projects – these will serve as basis for budget and 5 year plan • Support in creating RFQs and offer modifications in Salesforce • In permanent contact with the various internal departments, ensure timely and qualitative processing and delivery of customer offers and orders. Support for customer inspection at SEFPRO plants.This role must have technical expertise in the glass industry, industrial ceramics, materials and/or refractories. The position must also possess the ability to build strong relationships with customers and influence customer decision making through effective communication, material knowledge, and understanding of customer requirements.
