Network Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Administrator to join our growing IT team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and performance of our network infrastructure.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all aspects of our network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points.

• Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures.

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities.

• Utilize Rapid7 tools (or similar) to perform vulnerability scans and manage security incidents.

• Administer Microsoft Active Directory (AD) to manage user accounts, groups, and permissions.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices and software.

• Document network configurations and procedures.

• Provide technical support to internal staff regarding network connectivity and access.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in network administration.

• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

• Experience with risk assessment methodologies.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory (AD).

• Experience with Rapid7 (or similar) security tools a plus.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A+ and Network+ certifications preferred.
