Accounting SpecialistMower is a fiercely independent full-service advertising, marketing and public relations firm with more than 12 locations across the United States. We are currently seeking a Billing Specialist to oversee billing, estimating, and reconciliation functions for our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams, including Account Management and Accounting, as well as external vendors, to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and processing of all billing activities according to client contracts and agency standards.Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned.Prepare and issue accurate client invoices in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to client submittal procedures and internal policies. Analyze Work In Progress (WIP), draft, review, and obtain approval for billing documents, verifying compliance with client guidelines and budgets, including costs, agency fees, and additional charges. Collaborate with the accounting team and internal departments to ensure all billable activities and media/production expenses are accurately reflected in client invoices. Manage reconciliation processes, monitor billing activities, and audit discrepancies to ensure compliance with client contracts and internal policies. Review and verify expense vouchers and vendor invoices for accuracy. Add new clients and required information to the billing system, maintain up-to-date billing processes for assigned clients. Ensure timely receipt of client payments, addressing and resolving billing inquiries and disputes promptly. Assist with miscellaneous projects as requested by management. Educational Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in billing or financial management roles within the Advertising or Professional Services industry. Familiarity with agency accounting software; experience with Advantage is a plus. Solid understanding of billing operations and industry practices. Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Salary Range: $49,500 - $76,000 annually*Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training and experience

Minimum Salary: 49500 Maximum Salary: 76000 Salary Unit: Yearly
