ROAR delivers best in class customer service and support with comprehensive operations in major markets throughout the world.Purpose StatementWe are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Freight Forwarding Quoting and Booking Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently generating quotes for freight shipments, coordinating bookings with agents and carriers, and ensuring seamless communication between all stakeholders involved in the shipping process.Key Accountabilities and Outcomes1. Quoting:Utilize our internal systems and tools to generate accurate quotes for freight shipments based on customer requirements, shipment details, and current market rates.Analyze pricing, transportation options, and service levels to provide competitive and cost-effective solutions to clients.2. Booking Coordination:Liaise with various carriers, airlines, and shipping lines to secure bookings for freight shipments according to customer specifications and timeline constraints.Monitor booking status and proactively address any issues or delays to minimize disruptions in the shipping process.3. Customer Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding quoting, booking, and shipment-related inquiries.Provide timely updates on shipment status, transit times, and any potential delays or issues that may arise during transit.4. Documentation and Compliance:Ensure all necessary documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and export/import documentation, are accurately prepared and processed in compliance with international shipping regulations.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, carriers, and internal teams.* Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate calculations and data analysis.* Strong team player able to flourish in a fast-paced environment.* Industry certification (such as CCS, CES or US Customs brokers license) preferred.* 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or related industry preferred.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CargoWise software preferred.* Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.#LI-DC1COMPENSATIONIn accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"),reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
