One Family.Purpose StatementThe Assistant Aviation Line Service Technician will be responsible for assisting in daily line service, aircraft fueling and towing, aircraft interior/exterior cleaning, and general hangar and office upkeep.Standard working hours are 8am-4:30pm M-F but must be able to work outside standard working hours to accommodate flight schedule. Weekends as neededKey Accountabilities and Outcomes* Maintain a proper supply of fuel in the Rich Aviation fuel trucker and in the NFTA fuel storage facility.* Maintain valid certificates required to perform line service and fueling duties.* In the absence of the Line Service Supervisor, monitor and maintain fuel inventories in the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) fuel storage facility, invoices and required paperwork.* In the absence of the Line Service Supervisor, perform all tests and checks required under National Air Transportation Association (NATA) with reference to self-fueling authorization and truck servicing. Maintain accurate and updated records on all required tests for company fuel truck and fuel systems.* Maintain and inspect company fuel truck in accordance with manufacturers' approved procedures.* Maintain a working knowledge of the procedures, parts and tools needed to perform inspections, maintenance and repair on company fuel truck.* Procure and maintain a company set of tools necessary to accomplish aircraft fueler maintenance tasks.* Supports Maintenance department in coordinating daily activities of aircraft positioning.* Perform daily Foreign Object Debris (FOD) check prior to any aircraft movement.* Assist in the departures/arrivals of company aircraft and assist crew with passengers' luggage and transportation needs.* Assist pilots on control of aircraft stock.* Clean the interior and exterior of company aircraft.* Service aircraft lavatories as required.* Service aircraft potable water as required.* Clean offices, bathrooms, kitchen, coffee bar and conference room.* Maintain the hangar and work area in a clean safe manner.* Wash and fuel executive vehicles.* Other duties assignedKnowledge, Skills, and ExperienceHigh School or GED education required (some college is preferred)Aviation background preferredGreat communication and listening skillsPersonable attitude and good customer service skillsWorking knowledge of MS Word, Excel and OutlookValid New York State Driver's License (with no restrictions)Able to pass Rich Products Corp.
