Purpose Statement The Compliance Coordinator screens, onboards, and monitors transportation service providers ("carriers") within ROAR's carrier network, verifying each carrier's compliance to ROAR's internally established criteria which meet or exceed the requirements that govern transportation brokerage.Key Accountabilities and Outcomes * Respond to Associate requests for creating new carrier set ups and updating existing carrier profiles.* Use a variety of technological tools to monitor carriers, maintain records, and track compliance status.* Review carrier qualifications and approve or reject carrier for use and communicate status.* Apply analytical skills and follow established SOPs to ensure only qualified carriers are approved.* Work individually and as part of a team using strong organization and communication skills.* Request carrier documents as needed and fulfill customer insurance requests.* Routinely review transportation service providers for changes in safety information, licensing, insurance and other relevant information.* Escalates issues to Sr. Carrier Compliance Coordinator and/or Manager when unsure how to proceed.* Ensure continuous efforts to improve operations, decrease turn around times, streamline work processes and work cooperatively to provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally.* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on business need.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience * High School Diploma or equivalent GED required. Associate Degree in Logistics, and/or one to two years of experience in the logistics industry preferred.* Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Email System.* Work requires professional written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.* Must be comfortable and confident working in a fast-paced, deadline driven, stressful environment. Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.COMPENSATIONIn accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"),reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
