Acara Solutions Customer Accounts Specialist - Manufacturing in Buffalo, New York


Description
Acara Solutions has an IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Customer Accounts Specialist at our client located in Buffalo, NY. This is a DIRECT HIRE role with benefits.
Our clients' products are sold into over 50+ different countries around the globe.

First shift - 8am-5pm, Monday - Thursday, $30/hr. 4x day work week!!

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Communicating with customers about delivery scheduling and shipments
  • Updating existing product quotes
  • Writing-up and confirming new orders
  • RFQ of material costs (for purpose of updating quotes and/or ordering for production runs)
  • Monitoring cost history of materials
  • Following up on delinquent invoices
  • Tracking orders and order quantities based on deliveries and order balances
  • Generating packing slips and recording for invoicing on open orders
  • Generating material certifications (researching/checking history if MTL (Material Traceability Level), RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), NSF (National Sanitation Foundation).
  • Monitoring raw material inventory
  • Monitoring product inventory
  • Calling in weekly payroll
  • Reviewing outgoing invoices and payments - QuickBooks
  • Handling Returns and replacements
  • Other related office duties as business needs dictate.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have at least 1x year QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Must have at least 1x year recent invoicing/collections/customer service in Manufacturing

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Must be organized, proactive, have attention to details, and ability to multitask
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are needed
  • Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with customers and employees
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Associates degree preferred
  • 2+ years QuickBooks strongly preferred
