Description

Robert Half is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeepers for ongoing opportunities in the Greater Buffalo area. In this role you be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers

• Prepare financial statements and reports

• Process Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, prepare checks, invoice approvals, and wire transfers

• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts; reviewing for input accuracy and preparing monthly reports and journal entries, as needed

• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system

• Assist in the budget planning and management

• Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reporting packages

• Ensure compliance with all internal processes

• Investigate reporting discrepancies/anomalies and communicate issues as they arise in a timely manner

  Requirements

• 3+ years of Full Charge Bookkeeping Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines

• Attention to detail and accuracy are imperative

• Able to work under minimal supervision
