Description We are providing an exciting opportunity in the bustling city of Buffalo, New York, for a Sr. Accountant. This role is mainly focused on handling financial analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit schedules preparation in our industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of monthly expense analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, spotting any discrepancies and rectifying them.

• Prepare annual audit schedules and address all related queries promptly and professionally.

• Assist in the monthly close procedures to ensure a timely and efficient process.

• Provide financial analysis as requested, using Microsoft Excel and other tools to present data effectively.

• Use your skills in General Ledger and Journal Entries to maintain accurate financial records.

• Carry out Account Reconciliation and Bank Reconciliations to ensure all financial records are up-to-date.

• Take part in the Month End Close process, ensuring all financial transactions for the month are recorded accurately. Requirements • Must hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role is required.

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is a must.

• Familiarity with General Ledger and Journal Entries is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Experience with Month End Close processes is required.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is preferred.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of accounting software and databases is a plus.
