    How do you excel in this position

    The Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading the Supply Chain organization for complex, high value, engineered to order systems. Direct reports will include procurement, shipping/receiving, logistics, and warehouse positions. Key responsibilities include developing long-term supply agreements to ensure a cost-effective and secure supply chain and developing and improving scalable procurement and materials management processes and procedures.

    What are we looking for:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance or Economics or related experience required. Master's degree in Engineering, Business or Economics preferred.

  • 5-7 years of experience in purchasing required; two to three (2-3) years in a leadership position highly desired.

  • Experience sourcing and managing material for complex, engineered to order systems preferred.

  • Proficiency in inventory management tools and strategies required.

  • Proven experience in creating and overseeing supply chain related projects required.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are imperative for effective collaboration and relationship building within the team and with external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex factors with sound judgment and ingenuity.

  • Aptitude for monitoring external market trends and swiftly sourcing current data, benchmarks, and industry insights for multiple vendors is preferred.

  • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and present findings effectively.

  • Customer-centric approach with a willingness to handle transactional tasks efficiently.

  • Experience with MRP/ERP system usage and implementation a plus.
