Compensation
Bachelors Degree $19.50 - $21.59 per hour
Masters Degree $21.30 - $23.38 per hour

Primary Responsibilities
Engage youth in face to face contact within 10 days of referral. Conduct initial and routine 6-month Casey Life Skill Assessments/Learning Plans, Observations, Skill Inventories, Career Aptitude Tests and pre-post assessment comparisons
Teach, model and evaluate effective techniques and interventions with youth focused on academic, vocational services and life skills including but not limited to safe and affordable housing services, services to enhance self-sufficiency, and methods to sustain meaningful employment
Utilize a Solution-Focused Trauma-Informed Care Approach to collaborate with youth, ECDSS, family/natural supports, service providers and community partners (i.e. Buffalo Public Schools, ECC, Job Training Programs) to minimize barriers, enhance youth participation, establish a comprehensive service plan and enhance success.
Ensure accurate, thorough, and timely completion and filing of progress notes, court reports, safety/skills assessments, billing reports, correspondence, and other case-specific documentation. Prepare and document in Connections within 48 hours detailed progress notes.
Fulfill other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a human services related field with 3 years experience
Valid New York State driver’s license and adequate auto insurance
Ability to build rapport with youth based on healthy boundaries, effective communication and mutual respect
Ability to exercise discretion and judgement in decision making
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity, compassion, patience, and active listening
Ability to effectively work with individuals from a diverse array of cultural backgrounds, beliefs, customs, and lifestyles
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a clinically based area
