Description/Job Summary

Chaparral is looking for a highly motivated Branch Manager to lead our Commercial Division, specializing in insulation projects. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of branch operations, ensuring successful project execution while cultivating strong customer relationships and maintaining high safety and quality standards. A strong understanding and knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems, as well as mechanical insulation, is essential.

  • Team Leadership: Oversee and manage all aspects including Sales, Estimating, Project Management, and Field Supervision.

  • Sales Support: Assist in driving sales focusing on building and maintaining customer relations in the insulation sector.

  • Project Management: Plan, budget, and document all phases of projects, including labor, material, and time requirements to ensure effective execution.

  • Cost Analysis: Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to assist in accurate cost computation and budget management.

  • Operational Management: Support and enhance the operational capabilities of the division to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Safety Program Oversight: Ensure compliance with the company's Safety Program, promoting a culture of safety within the team.

  • Training and Development: Assist in training staff in best practices and industry standards, fostering professional growth.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor team productivity and address labor-related issues, providing constructive feedback and documentation as needed.

  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the company's Quality Program, ensuring all projects meet established quality standards.

  • Performance Optimization: Drive performance to complete projects on time and within budget, contributing to the overall success of the branch.

Required Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in the construction industry, specifically in insulation.

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems, and/or mechanical insulation.

  • Proven management or project management experience, with a strong background in estimating.

  • Effective organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities effectively.

  • Self-motivated with the capability to perform duties with minimal guidance.

Demonstrated ability to build and develop a successful team for future growth
