Essel Landfill Field Technician in Buford, Georgia

We are looking for on on-demand Field Technicians to join our team! In the Burford, Georgia.
We are looking for candidates with various experience levels who will be ready to make an immediate positive impact on their local communities.
Entry-level position where employees gain basic knowledge of the health and safety requirements, terminology, processes, and equipment used in the operation, maintenance, and monitoring (OM&M) of various environmental control systems. The tasks assigned are typically less complex and more routine than those of Field Technician II.

Focus is on gaining the fundamentals to understand the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of various environmental systems.
Work with senior staff in the planning and execution of assigned tasks, including daily Crew Activity Plans (CAP), monitoring, and/or adjustment of various environmental control system components.
At the direction of senior staff, performs basic maintenance and repairs of various environmental control system components.
Become familiar with the concepts of conducting field observations/actions and report those observations/actions by way of field notes and daily logs, which will be used by others to prepare verbal and written client communications.
Through training, has gained basic knowledge to utilize field instruments to measure required environmental control system data, including calibration and proper care and handling of field instruments.
Is required to participate in preliminary review of collected data with supervisor to gain an understanding of the fundamentals required to interpret field data.
Work with senior staff to make operational adjustments to environmental control system components in conjunction with the results of preliminary data reviews.
Receive training to utilize the appropriate tools, equipment, and materials to maintain and repair environmental control system components.
Assists Laborers, Field Technician II, Senior Field Technicians, or other staff with the removal of landfill liquid pumps.
Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and stay up to date with industry best practices.
Participate in and complete required Health & Safety training.
We are looking for a Field Technician to service around different locations. You will operate, monitor and maintain gas migration control/recovery systems including gas well monitoring and adjustment, troubleshooting, and system repairs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Weekends as needed

HAZWOPER 40 (Preferred)
1-2 years of environmental experience (Required)
