Futurex Account Executive - Cybersecurity Sales (North America) in Bulverde, Texas
Futurex, named one of San Antonio’s “Best Places to Work” by the San Antonio Business Journal, is seeking talented individuals with a passion for technology and a proven track record of achieving quotas to join our enterprise sales team in the position of Account Executive at Futurex’s Engineering Campus in Bulverde, 15 miles north of San Antonio, Texas.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology sector. This role requires a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and the ability to communicate the value of our solutions to prospective clients effectively. The position focuses on selling Futurex's hardware security modules (HSM), enterprise key management, data protection, and certificate authority & PKI solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach efforts.
Sales Presentations and Demos: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of our cybersecurity solutions.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.
Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring timely follow-ups and meeting sales targets.
Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging threats to provide informed recommendations to clients.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and technical teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and address any client concerns or requirements.
Compensation
Commissions paid for on-premises cryptographic appliance sales, cloud service contracts, and hybrid on-premises and cloud sales
Quota incentive accelerators: paid quarterly
Requirements
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology sector.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and market trends.
Experience with data encryption technology such as HSMs and enterprise key management.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
Strongly Preferred
Experience with certificate authority & PKI, tokenization, data protection, and Crypto-as-a-Service cloud platforms.
CISSP, Security+, CISM, GSEC, or other security-focused certification.
Self-motivated and results-oriented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
