What You Will Do

We are looking for an Associate Product Development Manager to join our team and help support multiple exciting new projects, with a focus on our collaboration with Epic Games!

You Will (responsibilities):

  • Support the VP, Creative Director and the Executive Director, Product & Creative in the execution of the creative vision and product goals for multiple projects.

  • Be an independent manager, advocate, and champion for numerous concurrent games in development and in the marketplace, ensuring Marvel authenticity and gaming excellence across your projects.

  • Collaborate with external partners in support of all game development, marketing, and promotional efforts, and assist in solving day to day product and creative challenges.

  • Work closely and rapidly with internal and external cross-functional groups to help optimally guide projects from development to launch and through live operations.

  • Assess product risks and recommend mitigation solutions that ensure game projects meet their product goals.

  • Play, dissect, and analyze games throughout development to certify their gaming appeal and market readiness.

  • Provide regular support for other game projects as needed

You Are (Qualifications):

  • A Seasoned Pro – You have experience in development or publishing roles in the AAA PC, Console, or Mobile game space.

  • A Game Connoisseur – You are proficient and passionate about current trends in gaming, including mobile, console, PC, VR, and competitive gaming.

  • A People Person – You always seek to champion deep and productive relationships with the people around you and treat them the way you wish to be treated - within the team, within the company, and with all our external partners. You understand that these relationships are built through effective, frequent, and timely communication.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in development, publishing, or partnership management positions at industry-leading game companies.

  • Worked on at least one AAA mobile or console title, ideally with experience in working on post-launch Live Service operations.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $70,000 to $93,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
