Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Burbank, California

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the Government sector for a Customer Service Representative based in Burbank, California. This role primarily revolves around providing excellent customer service, handling inbound calls, and managing data entry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Handling incoming customer service calls in a call center environment.

• Assisting customers by providing information, resolving issues, and answering queries.

• Entering and updating customer data and order entries in the system.

• Scheduling appointments as per customer requests.

• Ensuring all customer service activities are carried out in compliance with government standards.

• Proficiently using Microsoft Excel and Word for record keeping and correspondence.

• Balancing the handling of inbound and outbound calls, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Managing email correspondence with customers, providing timely and accurate responses.

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action based on account status. Requirements • Proven experience in answering inbound calls with efficiency and detail orientation

• Demonstrated ability in call center customer service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively address and resolve customer issues

• Proficiency in data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

• Experience with email correspondence, maintaining detail oriented and timely communication with customers

• Ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls, managing customer inquiries and complaints effectively

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the capacity to create and manage spreadsheets

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create detail oriented documents and reports

• Experience in order entry, accurately processing customer orders in a timely manner
