Summary-

Identify parts prior to inspection of castings, forgings, stampings, subassemblies and final assemblies on various space and aircraft machined parts hardware.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

• Identify assemblies with rubber stamps using different inks, elector-etch machine steel stamps, 14K-JET, and vibra-penning.
• Examines and etches serial number onto various assemblies.
• Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or 1-3 months of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Skills:
• Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Materials used: - Ferrous and non-ferrous metals and their alloys in the form of sheet tubular stock, machined and formed aerospace parts, also uses emery cloth, clamps, cleaning solvents, lubricants, and abrasive materials.
