Your Role

The Manager of Production Security is responsible for supporting the wide slate of Productions across Warner Bros. Discovery at the Burbank Lot, on location domestically and, on occasion worldwide. Reporting to the Director of Global Production Security he/she/they will play an important role in establishing protocols, identifying and sharing best practices and leading on security across productions to create a secure and cost-effective solution. In association with the wider Global Production Security Team, he/she/they will assess security risks associated with the production, including but not limited to people, brand, personality, geographic location, assets, intellectual property and analysing future risks. Adept in risk planning and with an excellent working knowledge of how security supports productions and links with other departments, this person will be responsible for drafting and continually reviewing risk assessments and implementing mitigation solutions that are both best in class and cost effective. He/she/ they will have experience of working in a production environment and the ability to integrate both above and below the line across the production environment. This person will display great leadership, equipped with strong negotiating skills and have the ability to assimilate information quickly and react appropriately to do ‘what’s best’ across an ever-changing production landscape.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Provides security support across the broad slate for all WBD productions. Identifying key titles monthly for security engagement

  • Reviews and documents risk according to the Production title finding the best security solution(s). Creating relevant materials for the production to include external freelance production crew

  • Directs and manages 3rd party outsourced security contracts, ensuring manning levels are maintained, contractual agreements adhered to, and budgets scrutinised and managed.

  • Prepares, manages and reports on budgets, reviews budgets throughout the lifecycle of production to ensure they remain cost efficient.

  • Supports time sensitive investigations, displaying great discretion at all times, in conjunction with other WBD departments.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

Experience & Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Significant experience in understanding the dynamics of production and the partnership role Security has with a production

  • Strong knowledge of how Productions operate and experience of working internationally on productions

  • Previous proven experience of Production security is vital.

  • Excellent knowledge of operational security risk planning and management

  • Significant experience in developing emergency plans and handling emergency situations effectively.

  • Significant experience developing, setting-up, and maintaining cross departmental security plans.

  • Strong operational knowledge of the functioning concepts of security.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $63,700.00 - $118,300.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
