Position:                       Online Solutions Product Manager

Reports to:                   TBD

FLSA Status:                 Exempt

Department:                 Online Solutions

Location/Shift:             Lahlouh, Inc.  (Burlingame, CA) / Day - Hybrid

 

Position summary:

This position is responsible and accountable for the effective leadership of the online team and implementation and management of web-to-print portals and programs.  The Product Manager is responsible for assessing and directing what the Company’s web-to-print platform can or cannot do and applying it to customers’ marketing business concepts and strategies.  The manager owns the entire management of the lifecycle from conception and strategy to launch and ongoing optimization. You will be a key player in ensuring our products deliver exceptional value to our customers and achieve significant business growth.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

 

Business Unit Leadership

  • Develop strategic business plan for online vertical, own the product roadmap, define the department vision, strategy, and priorities for our online offerings.

  • Work cross-functionally with executive team, sales, marketing, technical support and development to translate product strategy into actionable plans.

  • Oversee client scoping, site demos, contract review, technical design, configuration, testing, onboarding, and ongoing customer support for new and existing accounts.

  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in online solutions.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze product usage data to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

     

    Technical/Operations

  • Work closely with Information Technology (IT) department and with Clients’ IT personnel to design, configure and map workflows and technical integrations.

  • Impart in-depth knowledge and understanding of operating systems and workflows related to Company offered services.

  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.

  • Understand technical issues and translate them into solutions for the department.

     

    Sales and Marketing

  • Serve as a technical liaison for the sales team. Assist with client calls, product demos and serve as solution architect.

  • Conduct market research and user analysis to identify customer needs and opportunities for new online solutions.

  • Develop and implement product launch plans, ensuring a smooth and successful go-to-market strategy.

  • Advocate for the user experience (UX) and champion a data-driven approach to product development.

  • Assist with marketing strategies for the department.

  • Facilitate the resolution of customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure team supports sales through service, education, and effective problem solving, involving other team members as needed.

     

    Project Management

  • Effectively grasp, present and discuss the products and services of the Company, in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer solutions.

  • Manage relationship between client and key Lahlouh team members throughout the program development and enhancement cycle.

  • Supervise the development and composition of the detailed project schedule and plan for program implementation, including interface development and application configuration, testing, training, and rollout.

  • Oversee projects and ensure they stay on schedule and that client expectations are met from the time of project conceptualization and initiation, all the way through testing and launch of final product.

  • Complete audits; determine system improvements and implement change.

  • Understand and appropriately manage the Company pricing system and policies.

     

    General and Administrative

  • Communicate effectively with Senior Management, the Sales Team, and the Production Team.

  • Assess estimates and invoices for accuracy; ensure prompt invoicing.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently; resourceful.

  • Excellent leadership skills.

  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Must have above average skills in the usage of all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Must possess excellent organizational and time management skills; able to perform multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Strong process orientation, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and a firm commitment to quality.

    Experience

  • Required

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and growing online products.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in management of web-based programs.

  • Technical competence (understanding of software, hardware, and networks)

  • Proficiency in Project Management tools and project management methodologies.

  • Preferred

  • 4+ years of experience managing the software development lifecycle.

  • Experience in printing or graphic arts industries (experience with XMPie uStore, VeraCore, PageDNA and PACE, ideal)

  • Experience in multimedia marketing (social media, email campaigns, etc.)

  • Bonus

  • Familiar with the following languages and technologies:  HTML, CSS, AJAX, Java, PHP, CMS

     

    Education

    A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
